What is the HBSPCA Rescue Rangers Summer Camp?
Designed for young animal lovers, HBSPCA’s Rescue Rangers Summer Camp immerses campers in animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and conservation. Through hands-on activities, guest speakers, and interactive learning, children will develop a deep understanding of animal care while having fun!
Camp Highlights
✅ Honorary Pet Adoption Ceremony – Every camper “adopts” a stuffed animal and learns the meaning of responsible pet care.
✅Guest Speaker Series – Meet veterinarians, wildlife specialists, zookeepers, and more!
✅Daily Animal Encounters – Meet shelter pets, working animals, and exotic species.
✅Field Trips – Explore exciting locations like the Donkey Sanctuary, Bird Kingdom, and an Emergency Animal Hospital.
✅Hands-On Learning – Conduct physical exams, build enrichment toys, and participate in environmentally focused group craft projects
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please download, review and sign a copy of the HBSPCA Summer Camp Release Waiver now.
You will be required to upload a signed copy of this waiver when completing your camper's registration.

An introduction to the wonderful world of animals with engaging activities, crafts, and loads of real animal interactions.
🐾 Animal Advocates (Ages 9-11)
Discover how to support animal welfare, explore the world of animal rescue, and get involved in advocacy.
🐾 Vet Camp (Ages 12-14)
Learn about veterinary medicine through hands-on workshops, physical exams, and shelter operations.
🐾 Careers Camp (Ages 12-14)
Meet professionals across animal-related fields and assess animal welfare in real-world settings.

Refunds and Cancellations
Child participants being enrolled in children’s programs at the Hamilton Burlington SPCA must meet the age and grade requirements for the program they register in. Participants who do not meet age or grade requirements for their selected program may have their registrations automatically cancelled. Automatic cancellations will be subject to the cancellation & refund policy (a non-refundable $50 administration fee applies for all cancellations).
Refund requests received prior to June 1st will be eligible for a full refund, less a $20.00 administration fee. Refund requests received after June 1st will not be eligible for a refund without appropriate documentation.

Note: Full refunds will be issued in the event the HBSPCA has to cancel a scheduled camp program.
Waitlist
Once a specific week's registration reaches capacity, the registration portal will automatically switch to waitlist enrollment.
Waitlisted participants will be contacted in the order they joined, as openings become available for their selected weeks.
To join the waitlist for multiple weeks for the same child, a separate submission must be completed for each week.
Upon being offered a spot, confirmation and payment must be submitted within 24 hours to secure the registration. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the spot will be offered to the next child on the waitlist.
At this time we cannot respond to inquiries regarding your child’s position on the waitlist.
